Schools in our community
Each year, we find a way to lift up the teachers and staff of our community schools. It looks a little different each time. Thank you notes, gift cards, snacks and supplies. We line the school drive waving and showing signs of appreciation. However it takes shape, the point is the same: they matter to this community, and we want them to know it.
Helping Hand Crisis Ministry

Spicewood
An ecumenical ministry that has served Spicewood neighbors since 2007, with emergency food, help with a bill that cannot wait, and someone to sit with you in a hard season. They call it neighbors helping neighbors. Local churches, volunteers and donors keep the shelves full. Read more at helpinghandspicewood.org.

Once a month we bring worship to the residents at Lake Travis Independent Living. Music, communion, and time to visit afterwards.
Where your money goes
Five cents of every dollar goes to the wider ELCA, supporting Lutheran ministry in our synod and around the world. The other ninety-five funds and supports the many and various ministries here at Spirit in the Hills.
