The Spirit Moves Us! Building Campaign

The month-long “The Spirit Moves Us! Building Campaign” was designed to prayerfully consider and offer a commitment to the financial and spiritual goals for a building campaign.  The financial goal  is to raise a $300,000 down payment to be contributed over the next three years, in addition to regular offerings.  Our spiritual goal remains to find this effort one more way we build our faith to see and naturally share God in the everyday.

The campaign’s kick-off ten days of praying together offered a daily reminder through Facebook and email of how we can come together electronically and in the Spirit on common experiences ranging from gratitude to fear.  It was fun to see where Pastor Drew’s video prayer would originate each day!

Oct. 1-8 three meetings were held where any questions could be addressed.

Oct. 14 offers a four-hour prayer vigil at the church.

Oct. 15 during worship we complete cards that define our three-year commitment to the building campaign, and celebrate with a pot luck dish to be served with barbecue provided by the church.  Results of the campaign will be announced during lunch.

Please know the campaign committee welcomes all questions as we grow through this together, and we remain excited to watch how the Spirit moves us!
