Palm Sunday Worship and Choir Cantata
April 9th at 10am
We sing and shout Hosanna! (which means, “Save us now!”) and celebrate Christ’s entry into Jerusalem before experiencing the Passion Narrative in music as our choir performs the cantata, Hope in the Shadows.

Maundy Thursday Worship
April 13th, at 6:30pm
We hear the new commandment of Christ to love one another as Christ loves us, and we share bread and wine, the very body and blood of Christ that makes us new as we remember the love and faithfulness of Jesus to the end.

Good Friday Worship
April 14th at 6:30pm
Behold the life-giving cross on which was hung the savior of the whole world. We gather for worship as we contemplate the depth of the mystery and love of God on the cross.

Easter Sunday, April 16th
Our celebration of Christ’s Resurrection begins with breakfast at 8:30am.
After we share a meal together, we will worship God with praise and thanksgiving at 10am.
All children and youth are invited to join in an Easter egg hunt following worship.

Nona's bluebonnet paintingFamily Vacation Bible School
Since we’re a young church, we rarely do anything the same two years in a row, so 2016 is our first year to host an evening vacation Bible school.  We will meet each evening June 13-15 from 5:30-8 p.m. for supper and then fun with Bible stories, art and music projects. Local fine artist and Spirit in the Hills member Nona Maxwell, whose “Bluebonnet Watercolor” painting appears at left, will lead art lessons. Renowned musician and Spirit in the Hills music director Jacquie Tomhave will offer her expertise from the musical world using the theme “It’s A Miracle!” exploring the miracles of God throughout scripture.  Pastor Drew Ingram will lead the all-generation Bible Study.  You can download the registration form  at the following link, and return to Mary Huggins at the e-mail address provided.  Art and Music Camp Registration Form

Men’s Breakfast
The second Saturday of each month at 8 a.m., the men’s monthly breakfast is held at Hill Country Diner on Highway 71.  Drop in!  We’ll have work time afterward at the church for all who can participate.
